We are a civil association focused on comprehensively addressing the needs of children with disabilities, special educational needs or risk factors for development, on the coast of Oaxaca, providing them with the opportunity to develop skills that allow them to integrate socially and at school, as well as to have better expectations for personal development. Through our areas of care and programs, we dedicate our best efforts to improve the quality of life of children and their families.

History

• Legally constituted in November 1995.
• Manages and achieves the opening of the School of Special Education in Bahías de Huatulco in November 1995.
• Started in 1996 community projects for the detection, care and prevention of disability in Santa María Huatulco and San Miguel del Puerto.
• In 1997, the Early Care and Stimulation Center project Un Nuevo Amanecer begins.
• Since 1997, an average of 120 boys and girls are cared for annually in its facilities.
• Its intervention model contemplates 3 attention areas and 6 intervention programs.
• Currently serving the population of the municipalities of Santa María Huatulco, San Miguel del Puerto, San Pedro Pochutla, Pluma Hidalgo and others.
• The boys and girls who attend CAI Un Nuevo Amanecer live with social deprivation in communities with a low development index.
• Our projects have received the support of: Fundación Ba'Asolay, APBP, INDESOL, Fundación Alfredo Harp Helú Oaxaca A.C. Offer girls and boys with disabilities, with a risk factor for development and / or special educational needs, advisory services for diagnosis, rehabilitation and special education; with the aim of favoring their inclusion.

Consolidate ourselves as an organization committed to the human rights of children and youth and with the permanent updating of our Care Programs, aimed at girls and boys with disabilities, with a risk factor for development and / or special educational needs; to contribute to the achievement of a condition of well-being.
